The California Department of Technology (CDT) will receive a State Digital Equity Capacity Grant to support implementation of the Statewide Digital Equity Plan.
As part of the State Capacity Grant, CDT is developing a Subgrant Program that will fund entities and coalitions to conduct a number of activities, including developing and refining local digital equity plans, provide localized digital navigation services, targeted device programs, and workforce training programs.
The draft Grant Guidelines for this program are now available for public input and comment. These guidelines propose the structure, rules, and requirements for the Subgrant Program, and we invite the public to share their thoughts through the designated public comment form below.
You may comment on one or all sections of the guidelines. Public comments will only be accepted if submitted through this form; comments submitted by other means will not be considered.
The public comment period will remain open until October 29, 2024.
